Kim Kardashian’s two-month old marriage to basketball star Kris Humphries is reportedly on the rocks.
The former New Jersey Nets player was photographed on Thursday, strapped with moving boxes and a suitcase, leaving the New York City hotel that he shares with his wife. What’s more, RadarOnline.com reports that Humphries was NOT wearing his wedding ring!
A source close to the couple told the UK’s Daily Mail, “I don’t know when they’ll announce the split or why they got married in the first place but they are done. They are divorcing. Kim has been staying in a New York hotel which Kris has failed to visit.”
Star magazine reported that Kim may have consulted a “top divorce lawyer,” noting that Humphries has been partying in Miami and New York without his better half and “acting like a single man.”
A source told Life & Style, “Kim’s mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn’t a part of it. Any itineraries for the future don’t include Kris very much.”
Rumors of the reality stars’ marriage being finished have dogged the couple since they said “I do” in lavish ceremony in Santa Barbara, CA on August 20–all filmed for a Very Special two-part episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
But RadarOnline has some hope for the newlyweds, as they point out that the couple are reportedly headed to Las Vegas to celebrate Kardashian’s 31st birthday on October 21.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Kris was simply removing the boxes to move them into the couples new home in Los Angeles.
And as for the lack of wedding ring? Sources tell TMZ that Kris simply isn’t a big fan of jewelry.
